Licensing
FREEWARE AUDIO PLUGIN LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms on which you (“User”) may use the software plugin (“Software”) made available by its author and copyright holder (“Author”). Installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or use the Software.
1. License Grant
The Software is distributed free of charge. The Author grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software to create audio works. You retain full rights to the audio you produce with the Software.
2. Restrictions
This license covers your use of the Software itself. You may not:
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the Software as a product
- Share or redistribute the Software, in whole or in part, without the Author’s prior written consent
- Alter, adapt, translate, or build derivative works from the Software
- Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise try to derive its source code or internal design
- Remove, obscure, or change any copyright, trademark, or other ownership notices it carries
3. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
You may not use the Software, or any audio it generates, for the purpose of:
- Training, fine-tuning, or validating any artificial intelligence or machine learning model
- Building datasets, or extracting features, intended to teach a system to reproduce the Software’s sound or behaviour
- Developing any automated process whose goal is to learn, clone, or recreate the character of the Software
This restriction applies whether the Software is used on its own or as one component of a larger system.
4. Ownership
The Software is licensed to you, not sold. The Author retains all rights, title, and interest in the Software, including all intellectual property rights. No rights are granted to you except those expressly stated in this Agreement.
5. No Warranty
So far as applicable law allows, the Software is supplied “as is” and “as available”, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing here removes or limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable EU consumer protection law.
6. Limitation of Liability
So far as applicable law allows, the Author shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or for lost profits — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Software. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Termination
This Agreement remains in force until terminated. Your rights under it end automatically if you breach any of its terms, and the Author may also terminate it for non-compliance. On termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies in your possession or control. Sections concerning ownership, warranty, liability, and governing law survive termination.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the law of the Author’s country of residence within the European Union, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your own country of residence.
9. Entire Agreement
This Agreement is the complete agreement between you and the Author regarding the Software and replaces any earlier understanding or agreement relating to it. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. © [2026] [NEMUS Project]. All rights reserved.
Presets and locations
How do I work with presets?
All our plugins use a custom preset mechanism shown at the top of the plugin window. A set of Factory presets is written when the plugin is initially opened after installation. These presets, along with user created presets, are stored as .papreset files in the folder location indicated at the bottom of the plugin’s information window (the ‘i’ button).
How do I restore the Factory presets?
To restore the Factory presets delete the presets folder. The location is shown at the bottom of the plugin’s information window. You should take a backup of user created presets beforehand.
Where are the plugins stored?
The installers write the plugins to the standard locations, which are:
macOS
- HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
- HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
- HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins
Windows
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
